@ Bentropy

Just got my MKS-7 also. It seems that the sysex messages sent by the librarian are for midi channel 1, so (from power on):

- [MIDI CH]
- [CHORD] + [1] (puts chord section on channel 1)
- [CHORD] + [MELODY] (puts chord section in whole mode)
- [MIDI CH]

Now, when you load a patch, you will get all 6 voices responding to that patch on channel 1. You can change the channel back to another value if you want. Also, you can change the chord and melody midi channels back and forth to channel 1 when in normal mode to load a different patch for both sections.

Now, if only I could figure out how the bass section architecture works... for now, I'm stuck to presets...

Finally, all I have to say is: Fantastik Bjorn, thanks!

And to add a 'thank you!'

Hi, I'm trying to edit an MKS-7 with this. Should it work? Is there a way to address an other midi channel besides 1? (The MKS7 is 3 part multitimbral plus drums)

Thank you so so much Björn!
Our band owns 2 106s. Your work has helped bring them to life.
As a gesture of gratitude we are going to name a song after you.
Keep up the great work!

I cannot seem to get the LFO trigger on my Juno to function, I remember that it worked when I first started using it, now it does nothing. Is there a certain way to set it up or it just broken? I messed around with the function switch on the back, but still nothing. I've ended up just using the LFO fader instead, but I don't like that as much. Any help would be much appreciated.

No reply yet - is there any way to use the librarian at the same time as Ableton live is sending notes to the synth?
